A day in the life of a Yeshivat Darkaynu student…
Sunday – Thursday:
Early Morning: Shacharit and Torah Learning
Mid-Morning Until Mid-Afternoon: Work/Volunteer Program (off campus)
Late Afternoon: More Torah classes, Chavruta learning, Life Skills courses
Evening: Special activities, visit with adoptive families, recreational activities
Friday
After a morning shiur, students have the opportunity to play ball, enjoy a supervised trip to Yerushalayim, or other extracurricular activities.
Shabbat
Shabbatot are part of our weekly program. Students will have the opportunity to spend Shabbat with Yeshivat Har Etzion in various places around Israel. Students will be with their adoptive families, or at family and friends, for the other Shabbatot. Our staff oversee all Shabbat plans.
